About Me

TYH Yoga was founded by Marjorie Jenkins, a certified yoga instructor and former professional ballerina.

"My journey to entrepreneurship began in corporate sales, where success came at the cost of exhaustion. Moving into Talent Acquisition, I saw how burnout spread through entire organizations — draining people’s health, focus, and spirit.

After more than two decades teaching yoga, I knew there was a better way. I founded TYH Yoga and the Reclaim & Rise Retreats to help women of color in high-pressure roles reset, recharge, and sustain their wellbeing.

Together with my team of women of color; Dr. Aprile Andelle, a licensed therapist and Dia Young, a professional chef-nutritionist, we design holistic experiences that address burnout at its roots; blending movement, mindfulness, nutrition, and mental wellness to help women lead and live with steady energy and purpose."

Certainly. Yoga builds strength and tones the muscles among a plethora of other benefits. And if you think for one moment that you don't sweat in Yoga, just try me.

Yoga is beneficial at any age. Whether you are 22 or 82, Yoga can better your quality of life. I work with your strengths as well as accommodating your limitations. You gain more flexibility, strength, sleep better, reduce stress and the list goes on and on.

You'll need a yoga mat (ideally, but not required), comfortable clothing, WiFi and my Zoom link. And don't forget a smile and an open mind.
